The Olde Pine Theatre is staging a live theatre production of The Honeymooners: The Really Lost Episodes April 20, 21, 22 & 27, 28, 29. The stage adaption has been written by Ted Galaty and is being produced by PAPA - Pine Area People for the Arts. These original skits aired in 1951 on Jackie Gleason's popular TV series "Cavalcade of Stars." Jackie Gleason and co-stars began doing a sketch called "The Honeymooners", which later became the popular CBS sitcom. "Cavalcade of Stars" started in 1949 and quickly became one of the most popular shows on The DuMont Television Network. While the sitcom is copyrighted, "Cavalcade of Stars" has long been public domain which allowed for the adaption to stage..

OPT does not have a liquor license. However, we do have 2 for 1 drink coupons for Pine Island Sports Bar. Doors to Theatre open at 630 pm. You can reserve your seat and go get a drink across the street. We will have a 25 minute intermission and you can leave to get another drink. ;-)
