The band Imaginary Numbers will be celebrating the music of the Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan, along with fellow travelers from the 60's and 70's. Imaginary Numbers plays classic rock, roots and jam band music in an enthusiastic and innovative way, and loves interacting with the crowd. Bring your tie dyes and expand your heads as Imaginary Numbers provides its fun-filled and unique improvisational salute to the greatest music that ever was!
The Real Imaginary Numbers
Members: John: Lead guitar and vocals; Steve: rhythm guitar, keyboard and vocals; Alan: Bass and vocals; Diane: Drums
Musical style: Rhythm and Blues, Classic Rock, Jam Band. We play mostly covers with some originals, but play the covers in an interesting and innovative way (not just copying the record!).
Our playlist includes The Grateful Dead (Bertha, Scarlet Begonias), Dylan (Things Have Changed/Serve Someone), Talking Heads (Psycho Killer/Life During Wartime), Neil Young (Hurricane), Chicago blues (I Put a Spell on You), The Radiators (Deep in my Voodoo, River Run) and many others. We love interacting with the crowd and have fun on stage.
